Classic car enthusiasts from across the country will be cruising into Erskine next month to attend the charity’s classic car show.
Visitors can expect to see up to 200 classic cars from car clubs including the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ club, Triumph Sport Six club, Mustang Owners’ club to name but a few, along with many independent clubs.
In addition to the vast array of motors to view, there will also be children’s entertainment, food and craft stalls, demonstrations and auto jumble plus a BBQ.
Erskine Manager, David Benstead who organises the event and is a classic car owner himself said: “Last year was our first show and the response from the public and exhibitors was overwhelming. Over 2,000 attended with £4,000 being raised for the charity which was a fantastic amount.
“There is so much enthusiasm among the classic car community to support Erskine. It was great to see our veterans out looking round the cars last year and we look forward to another bumper show this year. I would encourage anyone who didn’t come along last year to visit us as there is plenty to see and enjoy in addition to all the cars.”
Erskine’s Classic Car Show takes place in the grounds of Erskine home, Bishopton on Saturday 12 July between 11am & 4pm. Entry is £2 for adults, free for children.
