Once again the middle of October will see activity around Kip Marina reaching fever pitch as it plays host to Scotland’s Boat Show – for the 29th year. Scotland’s Boat Show takes place on October 9, 10 and 11 and offers a host of entertainment and activity for visitors – well beyond the prospect of boats for every kind of sailor.
With new and high quality pre-owned boats on display from £500 to £1 million there are boats for all budgets and interests while on shore there is plenty to entice visitors with the addition this year of a dedicated Pavilion showcasing Scottish produce as part of VisitScotland’s Year of Food & Drink 2015.
There’s something for everyone from foodies to shopaholics to the outdoor enthusiast. This year sees the introduction of the Food Pavilion to the show where the very best of Scotland’s food and drink producers will offering their outstanding produce.

Year of Food & Drink Scotland 2015 at Scotland’s Boat Show
As well as boats of all shapes and sizes Scotland’s Boat Show 2015 will have plenty to entice visitors on shore with the addition this year of a dedicated Pavilion showcasing Scottish produce as part of VisitScotland’s Year of Food & Drink 2015.
The Scottish Food & Drink Pavilion contains carefully selected local and Scottish food & drink producers displaying their goods in a ‘street market’ style setting. Expect everything from hand baked goods, homemade tablet and unique Scotch Eggs to artisan distilled gin! Also within the Pavilion will be a live kitchen and stage where chefs and producers demonstrate dishes and skills enabling visitors to create their own delights and how to get the best out of the fantastic produce available in Scotland.
The Scottish Food & Drink Pavilion has received support as part of the Year of Food and Drink, an initiative delivered by VisitScotland and will be situated adjacent to The Chartroom Restaurant. The Year of Food and Drink Scotland 2015 celebrates the country’s outstanding natural larder and produce. Enjoy brilliant moments packed with regional delights and discover the landscapes, people and culture that make our food heritage so unique.
